TITUS 2:7 SET AN EXAMPLE OF GOOD WORKS YOURSELF WITH INTEGRITY AND DIGNITY IN YOUR TEACHING.
Okay here’s the question: What kind of example are you? Are you the kind of person whose life serves as a powerful example of decency and morality? Are you a person whose behaviour serves as a positive role model for others? Are you the kind of person whose actions ,day in and day out, are based upon integrity, fidelity ,and a love for the Lord?
If so, you are not only blessed by God, but you are also a powerful force for good in a world that desperately needs positive influences such as yours.
We live in a dangerous, temptation-filled world. That’s why you encounter so many opportunities to stray from God’s commandments. Resist those temptations! When you do, you’ll earn God’s blessings and you’ll serve as a positive role model for your family and friends.
Phillips Brooks advised, “Be such a person, and live such a life, that if every person were such as you, and every life a life like yours, this earth would be God’s Paradise. “And that’s sound advice because our families and friends are watching …. and so, for that matter, is God.
Therefore, since we also have such a large cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily ensnares us, and run with endurance the race that lies before us. Hebrews 12:1
